Captain Conversion’s 6-Figure Offer Checklist: Your complete guide to creating, marketing, and scaling your offer.

Introducing Captain Conversion’s 6-Figure Offer Checklist: Your complete guide to creating, marketing, and scaling your offer.

Hi Reader,

I think a lot of people complicate making money with their brand.

Truthfully, you only need a few things working together to make way more money than what you currently are.

So I've created a checklist for you to follow.

It contains everything you need to create, market, and scale your offer.

Here goes...

  1. Solve a problem
  2. Talk to people
  3. Create a lead magnet
  4. Write a newsletter
  5. Build a funnel

These are literally the only things you need to concentrate on if you want to succeed online.

Let's break them down 1 by 1 and make sure that they all align perfectly for you.

1) Solve a problem

You have skills, you probably already know a thing or two, or you're already providing a service. Great! But do you solve a problem people will be willing to pay to get solved?

Let me give you an example:

I need to redo my kitchen but I have no time to pick out tiles, flooring, cabinet colors, and materials. I also don't have the slightest idea of how to design it all in a way that will both look good and make sense.

What do I do?

I hire a designer. Preferably one that has done a few kitchens before.

I would gladly pay for that.

Problem solved.

Pick an audience who needs your skillset and identify their problems!

Take into consideration your audience's needs and goals.

For example: A website designer wouldn't need your help building a website, but they may be in the market for funnel optimizations or a sales coach.

Find their goals and desired outcomes and see if your skill serves as the solution they've been waiting for.

2) Talk to people

A lot of service providers make this common mistake.

They spend way too much time "building" and too little time "talking".

What do I mean by that?

When you only build, you live in a bubble.

You have no feedback and you don't know if your latest brain fart is exactly that, or maybe it's your next million-dollar move.

Go out and talk, preferably with your target audience.

DM people, reply on social and on forums, create conversations, let people know what you're working on...

Ask questions, give advice, and test your ideas on a live and reactive audience.

Doing this for 3 days is worth months of sitting alone trying to figure out what people want.

Network with anyone, be respectful, and don't judge a book (only) by its cover.

You never know who you're talking to and how they can help you.

I know some multi-million dollar business owners who have 200 X followers.

Go out there and N-E-T-W-O-R-K.

Got it?? Bubble boy?

3) Create a lead magnet

Once you've gathered your skills, the problem you can solve, and have spoken with your audience.

Sit down and write this simple formula:

I help {target audience} get {desired result} by doing {the service you provide} so they can {main benefit}.

Let's take me, your trusted Captain for example:

I help service providers make more money online by teaching them how to create, market, and scale their offers so they can grow a business and do what they love.

Now let's turn this simple statement into a lead magnet.

One of my longest-running lead magnets (the one you probably used to sign up) offers visitors an actionable blueprint to create a 6-figure offer... And here we are :)

Good lead magnets work because they:

  • Solve a specific micro-problem your audience is dealing with.
  • Offer a free sample (a checklist, a blueprint, a video course, etc).
  • Add immediate value and align with your audience's goals.

But do yourself a favor...

Create one only after speaking with your audience and asking them what would they like to get solved.

4) Write a newsletter

Creating a newsletter is the #1 audience nurture tool you can build.

By sending daily, or weekly content (your choice) you will build trust, expose your subscribers to more of your ideas and content, give yourself a platform for problem-solving, and ultimately create more engagement and sales.

So how do you do this?

Choose a format: Will you be sending daily messages? Weekly letters? Short or long form? Videos? Links? The best advice I can give you is to experiment and decide for yourself. Audiences vary across industries and what works for one person may not work for you. Send your content out and see what kind of response it gets.

Be consistent: Write! Be it weekly or daily (or bi-monthly)... Make sure you deliver on your promise to share at specific intervals. This will train your audience to look out for your emails at certain time points and get them to think about you even when your content is not actively in front of their eyes.

Automate: Create 5 email welcome sequence. This sequence should be packed with value, don't hold back. These are the first emails your new subscribers get from you and they will set the tone if they keep reading or hit that 'unsubscribe'. Educate, entertain, solve problems, and show who you are.

Promote: Add calls to action at the bottom of your emails promoting your services. Your promos should be framed in such a way that makes it clear how you could further help your subscribers reach THEIR goal. If you're uncomfortable going straight for a hard sell, start small, ask for a reply, ask for feedback, ask questions that your subscribers would want to answer. Treat this as a conversation, not a monologue.

Does this make sense? Did this help you? Reply now and let me know :)

5) Build a funnel

Your business should have 1 goal in mind.

And don't say "My goal is to make more money"...

Like everything in physics, there's cause and effect, action and reaction.

Do this right and "making more money" will be the inevitable result.

The goal is to help as many audience members solve the problem that is keeping them up at night.

To do this, you will need to attract an audience and speak about their pain points (as discussed above).

Now, once you have their attention, offer a way out.

What is the ultimate value you can provide?

Are you a yoga coach? Can you help me move better and live without pain?

Are you an interior designer? Can you help me redo my kitchen and save me time?

The goal you set should be directly tied to the problem you solve and the outcome you provide.

To do this, there are only 2 funnels you need for the start...

A social funnel: Create problem-solving content → DM people who interact with you → Engage in conversation → Propose a call.

A newsletter funnel: Create problem-solving content → Promote a free call.

Everything comes down to engaging in conversation and getting on a call.

I hope this helped!

Read these 5 steps once again and write them down on a post-it or in your note-taking app.

  1. Solve a problem
  2. Talk to people
  3. Create a lead magnet
  4. Write a newsletter
  5. Build a funnel

These are the foundation of a healthy service offer, and your ticket to a high-income, high-satisfaction service business you can be proud of.

I hope this checklist helps you in your journey.
